Before you download
- Make sure your device’s model number is one of: taurus. You will find it in Settings → About phone, or on the box.
- This file is for the China region. Installing another region’s firmware can remove features or block updates.
- This is a full image flashed from a computer. Flashing it usually erases all data on the device.
- Back up your photos, contacts and files first, and charge the battery above 50%.
How to install
Fastboot ROMs (.tgz) are complete firmware images flashed from a Windows PC with Xiaomi’s Mi Flash Tool. They can revive a phone that doesn’t boot, but they need an unlocked bootloader.
